Producing Workshops for Theater Artists
Targeted to self-producing artists and specialized in the immigrant experience, our two-hour workshops cover all the basic steps of production of independent theater in NYC based on our years of experience, as well as how they can support international students secure their artist visa.
ZOOM APERITIVO: By becoming a Patron, you can join one of the Et Alia Theater directors and other patrons monthly to discuss self-producing as an immigrant artist, visa cases, networking, etc. (1h zoom call.)

PRODUCING WORKSHOP: In a two-hour workshop, two of the Et Alia members will breakdown production steps and needs, including tips and tricks to ensure a smooth process; Q&A at the end.
$400 for the workshop
PRODUCING CLASSES: Ten two-hour classes, each of them focusing on a different step of a production (syllabus upon request). The main goal is to allow students to bring their own projects and work on their specific needs. Here, the students will leave the program with a clear full structure of a theater production.

Theater for Corporate Professionals and Students
Two-hour classes with exercises focused on skills such as communication, teamwork, public speaking, creativity, and leadership skills for college students. Each class will offer techniques for diction and clear communication, theater games, and in-theme scene work.

An Immersive Theater Experience on the Ethics of AI designed for college students
Developed by Et Alia Theater in partnership with Cooper Union University, this offering:

Begins with a staged reading of 'R.U.A.I.,' a new play exploring ethical dilemmas of AI;

Invites students to imagine themselves as the play's protagonists and make decisions for them, collectively debating pivotal plot changes;

Challenges future professionals to navigate the ethics of AI, helping them discover their own moral compass amid technological advancements and social shifts;

Concludes with talkback with the Ethics of AI specialist Jude Fernandes.
About the play: A contemporary reinterpretation of Karel Čapek's classic, Rossum's Universal Robots, 'R.U.A.I.' tells the story of a a big tech company developing a new Jury A.I. model for the Supreme Court.
